September marks my official departure from Host, Writer, Producer at Creative Third Thursdays (CTT). Having decided prior to our two-month Summer hiatus to step back to focus my full energy to my lifelong dream of screen acting.
At 69, while living among so many world class filmmakers and facilities in BC the question was simple: if I don't pursue my screen acting career now, when will I? So, I am re-dedicating my energy to it, making myself fully available to travel for projects or events to connect with the filmmakers shaping our province's and country’s creative landscape. I also remain deeply interested in the evolution of Canadian stories and what our filmmakers are focusing on today.

As I step back after four years, I strongly encourage everyone to keep supporting Creative Third Thursdays. I am proud that this monthly event has become a vital space for Chilliwack's diverse creative community—from photographers to painters, musicians, creative entrepreneurs—to meet and collaborate. While stepping back from CTT, l’ll remain a creative advocate and contributing member of the Chilliwack Creative Commission and it’s exciting intitiatives.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey but especially to Tim McAlpine the show’s Co-Producer and the owner of Studio C, Chilliwack, and I look forward to seeing you at Creative Third Thursdays when I can.
