Last week, I had the pleasure of playing a lead role in a 10-part courtroom crime drama series being produced for YouTube. As a Lower Mainland resident and local hire in Vancouver, navigating the major construction on Highway 1 meant I opted to stay at a friend's house and take the train into the city center. Our set was located in the iconic Vancouver Art Gallery—formerly the historic Vancouver courthouse.

Walking onto the third floor is like stepping back in time. The original courthouse structure remains remarkably intact, complete with rich woodwork and the classic judge's and witness boxes. Delivering my dialogue in front of the RED Dragon camera was an absolute blast.
I can say this was one of the friendliest, most appreciative environments I’ve experienced. Spending five intensive days with the cast and crew allowed us to build a rapport. And importantly, participating in this project aligns with my ongoing commitment to supporting new Canadian storytellers. It was a positive experience from start to finish. I can’t wait to point you to it when appropriate.
