Blogging in the summer is always a bit tricky because there are far more opportunities to get out and socialize. But the warmer months have been a great mix of travel and creative projects.

On the Road: My wife and I took a fantastic trip over to Vancouver Island this summer, catching some live music and staying in Chemainus and Campbell River/Courtney areas.
Focusing the Lens: After four years of producing, writing, and hosting Creative Third Thursdays, Over the Summer hiatus I've made the decision to step back from the project. You will still see me at Creative Third Thursdays when I can. But I’ve had a wonderful run building community with the this project but it's time to direct that energy fully back toward my screen and voice acting career and to nurture my own creative spirit.
On Set: Things in Hollywood North have been active and I have been busy at the audition studio. I was on set in June for a principal role in a popular Netflix series. I'm currently wrapping up the summer with a Lead role in a court room drama series filming in Vancouver. As I write this I am pinned for a supporting role in an upcoming movie of the week. B.C. maintains it’s third largest production centre title in North America. There are plenty of opportunities for fun, for an aged actor like me. 🙂
